Behind the Founder

Inknoor founder, Kelly Kimball, began his journey into creative arts at an early age when his mother and grandmother, who both were artists, imparted in him an appreciation and love for the creative. As a child, Kelly would spend his free time creating everything from home-made birthday cards to his own comic books, but as he got older he exchanged his pencils and time of sketching for music and playing drums for several different bands.

In his early thirties at a paint night with friends, he rediscovered his joy for drawing and began exploring different mediums to express his creativity. At first, he started painting with acrylics, then created pieces with pen and copic markers until he eventually found his favorite medium in watercolor.

Inknoor is the brainchild of his work and was created to spread joy with the beauty of his bright and colorful imagination.

Kelly is located in Central Illinois with his wife, Colleen, and their magical unicorn (dog), Juno. Both Kelly and Colleen are fascinated with business and the marketplace and as such, dabble in various entrepreneurial ventures.
